getting ready to go out

So here I am home alone on a friday night, it's been quite a long time since that's occurred. I forgot how fun it can be getting all sparkled up while listening to music and dancing like a tit around the house. I hope everyone's weekends are off to a great start, pump up some music and get out of the house!

ouch.

did someone drop kick me in the face... and then continuously over my entire body? Because that's how non awesome I am feeling... but with a small tinge of awesome because I had a mad fun Shark attack evening last night. I think I can call it a success of an evening, there were no tears and no vomming (so maybe it was in actual fact a failure for me as a vomgirl but oh well) and I managed to stay upright all evening. And people got their dance on which always makes me super pumped! So for those of you who attended, thank you ever so much, you made my night.

Although I feel like my body is currently melting into my delightfully comforting bed, I have to get up and get pumped up for more drinking and merriment. I sincerely hope I don't vom on anyone. Especially you...yeah that's right...you.

Wooops!

Just realised I almost forgot my post for the day, been dutifully working on my playlist for VomSharkAttack Night at New Division tomorrow night. Think it will (hopefully) be super fun and debauched, it's really the only place that I mad love playing at because people always dance and have fun, and actually seem to appreciate what I play. which is awesome. and makes me super happy.

Obviously I am no proper dj, pretty much just hit play on my i-tunes (shhhh don't tell), but it's really awesome getting a crowd of people pumped up and dancing. So I feel like that counts for something too, it's not just about being able to mix, or use vinyls or what not (don't get me wrong, I wish I could mix) but I make do with my abilities, and my side-boob. And as long as people have fun, that makes me feel like I've done a good job. (minus the times when I get shit-faced and cry/vom/leave/don't recognise my friends).

I am rather wiped out from a super amazeballs Cosmopolitan editorial (pictures to follow tomorrow) so I wont go into full detail, but I think you get the gist of how rocking the evening was.
