"Successful at Divorce"

I found out a hilarious, if not slightly worrying, piece of family history today. According to research carried out by a relative on my maternal grandmother's, there is a 90% divorce rate in our family. My initial reaction; HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA,
that explains a lot. I mean seriously...90%...that's pretty damn high. So what I take this information to mean is that it is literally IN MY DNA to get divorced at some point in my life (if not a few times, I mean, Why not? It's in my DNA for eff's sake, might as well make the most out of it).

Now those of you who know me well, know my feelings towards marriage in general (not for me, thanks) but now this has just gone and sealed the deal [sidebar- Arrested Development fans- "Seal Deal" hahaha] I'm setting myself up with a 90% chance of failure should I ever be convinced into tying the knot. I really don't think those are great odds. So eff that shit, I'm not going to contribute to the 90%.
If any graphic designers would like to take a crack at envisioning a family coat-of-arms for us, I have coined us a new motto "Successful at Divorce" which must be incorporated onto a crest that somehow depicts the mass amount of failed marriages in my bloodline. That would be awesome.

Although I am destined to remain husbandless (and I might add, happy) I am comforted in the fact that I am blessed with the most ridiculously insanely cute Minnie. Who decided she didn't want to come inside after her walk...so tried to camouflage herself into the stairs....
